The Ground

  • Selhurst Park, located in the residential district of South Norwood, London, has served as the home of Crystal Palace FC since 1924. Designed by renowned stadium architect Archibald Leitch, Selhurst Park was purpose-built for football, opening its doors on 30 August 1924 with a match against The Wednesday.

  • Though primarily home to Crystal Palace, Selhurst Park has also temporarily hosted clubs such as Charlton Athletic and Wimbledon FC during periods of ground-sharing in the late 20th century, reflecting its importance within London's football landscape.

  • Today, Selhurst Park remains under the ownership of Crystal Palace FC and has long been synonymous with the club’s passionate fanbase, particularly the Holmesdale Fanatics, whose vibrant support fills the famous Holmesdale Road Stand.

  • With a current seating capacity of approximately 25,486, the stadium offers an intimate yet electric atmosphere, renowned as one of the most vocal and intense in the Premier League. Historically, its record attendance reached 51,482 in 1979, prior to the transition to an all-seater format.

  • Architecturally, Selhurst Park blends classic design with incremental modernization. Originally featuring Leitch’s signature lattice-work stands, the ground has seen steady upgrades, including the construction of the Arthur Wait Stand in 1969 and the Holmesdale Road Stand in the mid-1990s

Official Tickets

  • Crystal Palace Ticketing Membership is strongly recommended for priority access to match tickets. Members receive exclusive ticket windows before general sale, as well as priority for high-demand fixtures. Popular matches may require early booking as availability is limited.

  • Crystal Palace Ticket Exchange (Official Resale). The club operates an official Ticket Exchange platform for members and season ticket holders. When a game is sold out, season ticket holders can list their seats for resale at face value. These tickets are available to members on a first-come, first-served basis, and availability can fluctuate as listings appear closer to matchday.

  • Ticket On-Sale Dates. The club typically releases tickets several weeks ahead of each fixture. Keep an eye on the Crystal Palace official website for the exact sales calendar. High-profile matches (vs. top-6 clubs) can sell out within hours of release.

  • Hospitality & Premium Packages. For high-demand fixtures, Crystal Palace offers official hospitality packages through Premium at Selhurst Park. These packages include match tickets and are often available even when standard tickets are sold out.

  • Consider Midweek or Lower-Demand Fixtures. If you're flexible with your dates, consider midweek games, early rounds of domestic cup competitions, or lower-profile Premier League fixtures. These matches typically offer better availability and more affordable pricing.
