Frosinone Calcio was founded 1906 as Unione Sportive Frusinate. Following cancellation by the Italian Football Federation, it was refounded in 1959 and in 1990. The colours of the team were originally red and blue which were later changed to the current yellow and blue. The first social colours of the club were red and blue. Now they are yellow and blue. The crest of Frosinone contains a lion, the animal that appears in the coat of arms of the city and the colors yellow and blue
