FC Den Bosch
The Blue White Dragons
Founded: 1965, Stadium: De Vliert, Capacity: 8,500
FC Den Bosch was founded in 1965 as FC Den Bosch/BVV. They are the successor of BVV (1906) and Wilhelmina (1890). Ruud van Nistelrooy started his professional career at this club. The rivals of FC Den Bosch are NAC Breda and Willem II. The club’s logo depicts a dragon, possibly in reference to the impregnable fortress that had long been the swamp-dwelling city in the Eighty Years’ War against Spain, earning it the nickname Swamp Dragon.
