The City Ground
The City Ground is the home ground of Nottingham Forest FC since 1898. It is located in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, England, on the banks of the River Trend. It has a capacity of 30,445. The stadium was a venue when England hosted Euro 96, and is only 270 meters away from Meadow Lane, home of Forest’s neighboring club Notts County; the two grounds are the closest professional football stadiums in England and the second-closest in the United Kingdom after the grounds of Dundee and Dundee United. The City Ground and Meadow Lane are located on opposite sides of the River Trent.
